Kenya update 3 months here and 3 months to go!!!

 Kenya update from the Good News From God Five!!!!  


Hey brethren as we are approaching the middle of November things are getting very exciting out here in Nairobi Kenya.


We have officially got to the halfway point of the six months of my visa being valid here in Kenya.


The way things work out here when you arrive in Kenya they do not give you the whole six months when you arrive in Kenya. They give you three months and then you go to the Kenyan Embassy to extend it for another three months.


So on Monday November 9 we went down to the Kenyan Embassy and extended the visa and they gave us two months and we will be going back right after Christmas and extending it for the final month so we will be able to be here together all the way up until the end of January.


As I look back at what our ministry team has been able to do for the first three months out here it has really been amazing.


A lot of doors were opened up for preaching opportunities in a lot of churches that have Congo refugees and it has really been great to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and encourage them as well.


On the Gospel cards we just got in Swahili we added our GoodNewsFromGod5@gmail.com 

ministry email address to them so that people can email their questions to us.


As a lot of you know we had a wonderful time when we went to Mombasa Kenya where we had the opportunity to have some great discussions with some of the Muslims out there in their Majority Muslim Community.


One of the people that put their faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while we were out there was an individual named Ramadan.  


Just this week my friend Michael showed me how Ramadan has updated his contact info on WhatsApp and he no longer uses the name Ramadan but he uses the name Rama!!!


He also put an update underneath his name that says “In God We Trust” now that he’s a believer in Jesus Christ as his Savior!!!!  

It is so exciting to see how bold he is with his faith in Jesus Christ 🙏🙏🙏


God has also led more people into our lives that want to be of assistance with the ministry and we’re realizing the importance of having an online presence so that people can identify with our Good News From God Team.


So these next three months we will be focusing on continuing to reach out to the Somalian Muslim community out here and some of them are very interested in the good news that only comes through a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as your Savior.


The Somalian Muslims out here are very tightknit with one another so it is very difficult to share the gospel with them as a whole....but our friend Moha “Previously known as Mohammed” Believed in Jesus Christ as his Savior....so we are confident that God will lead more Somalian Muslims to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ because of His death burial and resurrection as we continue to move forward....😀


We were planning to do a study through the book of Revelation and include the Somalian Muslims in it but unfortunately when Somalian Muslims are spending time with believers in Jesus Christ as their Savior it raises a lot of suspicions and so we had to work out a way to get the Gospel message to them in a way that will not raise suspicions in the community.


So we came up with this idea and I am very grateful to Sue for showing me the “More Than Dreams” videos before I left America!!!!


What we will be doing this coming week starting on Tuesday is downloading the different episodes of more than dreams and putting them on a flash drive along with a question and answer sheet that we will give to each of them so they can watch an episode and then answer questions about that episode.


And on the back we will give them the opportunity to share their thoughts about that episode and ask any questions that they may have about the gospel message and being a follower of Jesus Christ or Isa which is the Arabic word for Jesus Christ.


After they return the first question and answer sheet with the flash drive....we will download another episode for them and provide a question and answer sheet for that episode.


God has led Samuel and Louis to our team and We cannot wait to see the impact that these videos and our ministry will have among the Somalian Muslim Community 


I want to let you all know how grateful our ministry team is for your thoughts and prayers and we are very grateful for your support and those of you who have been able to show your support can know that it is being used in ways that will get more people into heaven and we are so excited out here as this next step begins 🙏🙏🙏


The most important thing that we have realized is the importance of prayer and continuing to keep our ministry team in Kenya in your thoughts because without that no ministry teams will be fruitful unless we ask God for it.


Here’s some of the blessings that will help our journey for these next three months and I know God has provided them thanks to your prayers 🙏🙏🙏


We have access to a laptop now and we only need to give the person a 24 hour notice before we need it and he will let us use it at no cost 🙏🙏🙏


Our friend Samuel knows how to use screen capture software to download a video and save it on a flash drive which will help as we start getting these videos out. 🙏🙏🙏


God has really blessed Senga and his family as it looks like his wife and two children will be in the United States of America thanks to the refugee resettlement program and take a big financial burden off Senga 🙏🙏🙏


The United States government has told Senga that his wife and two kids will be settled in Phoenix Arizona and after they have been in America for a year they will be able to sponsor Senga to come to America as well!!!!


Our friends Nakash and Simon and their family from Pakistan are very excited to have me come out there once my six months run out here and spend three weeks in Pakistan preaching to the Arabic Christians at their churches and with Arabic Muslims in the area that attend their churches as well.

They opened another church in a different area of Lahore Pakistan because the main church has over 300 people there every single Sunday so they had to open another one......PRAISE THE LORD 🙏🙏🙏


A couple of weeks ago when I spoke with my friend Nakash in Pakistan he told me that there are over 20 people that are now believers in Jesus Christ as their Savior that want me to baptize them when I get there and I consider that a great honor!!!!


There are so many other little things I could mention but these are just the highlights and we are so grateful and love you all for praying for us as we continue to do what God has put on our hearts as we continue to serve HIM 🙏🙏🙏


We can’t put into words how grateful we are for all of you!!!

Kenya March update
