Kenya March update

 Hello brethren and friends.....this has been an exciting and amazing thirty days in this part of the world 🙏🙏🙏

With all of the amazing things that the Lord has done over the last 30 days we could easily occupy the entire Wednesday night church service.... but because I know there’s other missionaries that you will be reading letters for..... I’m going to put highlights on the main topics with the information underneath.

1) PRAYER.....PREACHING.....and PERSEVERANCE in PAKISTAN 

  Our ministry team is so grateful for all of your prayers and thoughts and support and encouragement that we can’t put into words how grateful we are for all of you. During the time that we spent in Pakistan it was absolutely amazing to witness God do things that we did not even believe possible and somethings that some Christians thinks that God doesn’t do  anymore.

It was because of prayer that I believe God blessed the trip to Pakistan the way that HE did.  Not only was I not harmed while I was out there but we were also able to encourage Christians in Pakistan and there are a lot more Christians there than I expected.  

God also opened up doors to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Muslims in a way that I never would’ve expected.

In that part of the world people are all looking to have a close relationship with God whether they’re Christian or Muslim.

I witnessed a Muslim woman get healed from an illness she was dealing with after we had prayed for her and I was so amazed that God did that...... Later on I realized that she has a lot of Muslim friends and after her healing she started spreading the word to her Muslim friends about what happened and by the grace of God our final service in Pakistan on February 11 had about 1/3 Muslims  and 2/3 Christian!!!!  

This gave me the opportunity to share what we believe as Christians to a LOT OF MUSLIMS why we believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and why Jesus Christ had to die for the sins of the world.

Just so you know.....our main services had between 250-500 people attending and on multiple occasions we didn’t have enough room for everyone and people listened outside if they couldn’t get in......”It kind of felt like a mini Donald Trump Rally at times......except we talked about how to receive forgiveness of sins and everlasting life which is WAY MORE IMPORTANT than Making America Great Again” and we had an amazing opportunity to combat the “FAKE NEWS” of Islam.....with the Good News from God which is salvation by GRACE through FAITH thanks to the Death.....Burial.....and Resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on the THIRD DAY to give forgiveness of sins and everlasting life to all who believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior ❤️❤️❤️

During the final service God put on my heart to let people know about the different miracles we saw out there..... But to focus not just on the miracles that we saw out there, but to focus on the ultimate healing that we all will receive as long as we believe that Jesus Christ died for sins according to the Scriptures was buried according to the Scriptures and ROSE again on the third day according to the Scriptures and receive forgiveness of sins, eternal life, an inheritance in heaven and a glorified body that will never get sick again!!!!

I also had the honor of baptizing over 50 new believers while I was in Pakistan and God gave me the ability to share a short message before the baptism and I focused  on how it is important to be baptized as a symbol to others that we are new believers in Jesus Christ, but at the time of salvation when  you believe in Jesus Christ as your savior you do receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that John the Baptist spoke about when he said “I baptize with water but there is one coming after me  who is greater than me who will baptize you with the Holy Spirit!!!”  Obviously John the Baptist was referring to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when he made that statement.

During the baptism ceremony there was this new believer who was having pain in her right shoulder and immediately after the baptism when we rose her up out of the water the pain was gone and it was absolutely amazing to witness that!!!! Later on she testified in front of the congregation at one of our church services that she had been healed after she was baptized and that really got peoples attention.

I had to remind people at our services that it was God who did these things and all I am is a vessel that God used as these things were done by God. “My Dad also reminded me of that as well”

Coming from a conservative Christian background seeing how God still works in ways that I never thought was so amazing to me and reminded me that not only do we serve a God who saves a God who 

Died for our sins 

To all those who have believed in Jesus Christ as their Savior will go to Heaven when they leave this world along with those believers who will be alive when Jesus Christ returns.

A God who loves us..... And will provide for all our needs according to his will  for his glory and our good.

But we serve a God that still heals people!!!! AMEN 🙏🙏🙏

2) My friend Joe believed in Jesus Christ as His Savior 

As a lot of you know there is a friend of ours named Joe who has played a big role in opening up doors for us to share the gospel with Muslims here in  Kenya.

I always got the feeling that he was watching how other Muslims would react as we shared the Gospel with others so he could get an idea of how his Muslim friends would react if he believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

While I was in Pakistan we spoke to each other and I remember asking him what answers he had been coming up with as far as Jesus’ prophecy in John 14:6  that HE is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE and no one gets to God unless they go through Jesus Christ.

Joe responded to me and told me that he had been thinking about this a lot and I asked them what answers he has come up with and two days later he responded to me and said that he wants to be a follower of Jesus Christ and I was so pleased when I read those words!!!

Another Ex-Muslim in the family of God......HALLELUJAH 

Now that Joe is a new believer we go over to his house on Saturdays and have communion together and read the Bible with each other and just share what God is doing in our lives which is very important for Joe and us as well so we all can grow in our faith in Jesus Christ and realize that Joe made the greatest decision he could’ve ever made in his life when he decided to believe in Jesus Christ as His Savior and receive everlasting life and forgiveness of sins!!!!

PLEASE KEEP JOE IN YOUR PRAYERS AS HE GROWS AS A NEW BELIEVER..... I have a feeling that God has amazing plans for Joe and I cannot wait to see how God uses Joe for the glory of God as time goes on 😀

3) Senga’s Family American Bound in 2 months or less in the refugee resettlement program!!!

Senga’s family was originally scheduled to fly to Phoenix Arizona the day after I left for Pakistan, but unfortunately some complications arose with the validity of his daughters birth certificate and they were not able to leave at that time.

I am so grateful that God provided the provisions necessary so that Senga could get the valid birth certificate for his daughter within the 30 days that the United States government required.

Senga sent me a notice that he received from the United States government Once the valid Birth Certificate was received that his wife and 2 children will receive their Visa’s in 2 months or less..... and that Senga will be able to join them in America once his family’s been in America between six months to a year.....”I don’t think it will be a year before Senga gets to come to America with his family though....i’ve always felt in my heart that it will probably be about 6 to 8 months tops and then Senga and his family will be able to join you all in South Carolina at the fellowship and that will be amazing!!!!

Please continue to keep Senga and all of us in your thoughts and prayers and know that we appreciate all of your support as we continue to share the Gospel with others as we see the Day that Jesus Christ returns for His Church draw nearer and nearer!!!
