Could Adam and Eve be a picture of Jesus Christ and the Church?
As I think about the story of Adam and Eve, I find a lot of similarities between the love that Adam has for Eve....and the love that Jesus Christ has for the church. For a long time I have wondered why Adam would eat the forbidden fruit when he was told DIRECTLY from the Lord that he would surely die if he did that.
